- JR Gallery: The Art of Resilience

 J.R. is the Founder and CEO of JR Gallery and the True Top 1% Foundation (TT1P.org). The gallery serves as a funding source for the foundation, with proceeds donated to support veterans and their families. J.R. does not collect a paycheck from the foundation; instead, his income is solely sourced from the gallery, ensuring that as much as possible is given directly to TT1P and the heroes it serves.

J.R. founded the True Top 1% Foundation out of a deep respect for those who serve and a personal drive to make a difference. Though not a veteran himself, his family’s military roots trace back to the Revolutionary War, instilling a lifelong appreciation for service and sacrifice.

His connection to art began in high school, where creative expression became a lifelong companion. Even as he transitioned careers, art never left his body — or his hands. During the pandemic, J.R. rediscovered art as a source of healing and resilience. Inspired by its power, he formally launched the foundation to help others heal through creativity. With the support of friends and Mark Saliaz from the foundation, he recognized an opportunity to serve veterans on another level, expanding TT1P’s mission and reach. Which led to the formation of JR Gallery.

Transitioning from corporate sales into the study of behavioral psychology, J.R. combined his professional insight with his background as a career artist to develop innovative, creative-based programs that honor and empower veterans and now with an asist through the Gallery.
